Time Management
where we’ll explore your “success handicap.” By that Imean the tax you may be placing on yourself, by sleeping and starting later than your competitors do.
As a general rule, successful people work harder than others. They simply work more hours. But they also do something else…
They manage their time differently. They make choices, which sometimes means making sacrifices. Because this much is certain :
If you want to reach a high level of success, there will be many thingsyou will have to eliminate from your life.
Some of those things are simple distractions. Some are pleasant diversions. And some are activities you actually love and want to keep doing – but you will make a conscious choice to sacrifice them in deference to the main purpose in your life. You give up some things you want, to attain the things you really want.
It’s all about the choices you make and the priorities you set. So how are you doing onthat?
Do you have a clear purpose in your life. Do you manage your time well and take care of priorities – or do you go for instant gratification – or let distractions take you off course?
Please share your thoughts below. And next post I want to discuss how this applies in other areas of your life.
